I have starting to learning the crow mobe on the trampoline, and was woundering how difficult it really is. Some say it`s the easiest mobe. On the trampoline i jump straight up and really use the handle to pull myself around. Do you have to be comfortable with the TS 360 first??? How skilled should you be before trying one???

The crow mobe is probably the easiest mobe to learn from everything I have seen. The tramp is different than pulling it on the water, but we all know that right?
I would say all you need is confidence in YOUR SKILLZ....
IF you are asking if you should try it that sounds to me that you are not ready for the trick or your mind is not ready for the trick....I assume you can land a regular scarecrow so you are correct in thinking you are not far off but can you pull a method crow or another grabbed version of a crow? If you can do all that and land TS 3's like cake then you are ready for the crow mobe.
What ever happened to learning tricks in progression, meaning when you are ready to learn a trick you have no doubt in your mind you will land it first or second try.... This is also a great way to prevent injury...
You should be able to stick a trick after only a handful of tries if not you should move on to a different one and come back to it.
Any Joe can Huck and Luck...

i have heard its a easy mobe to learn also, i ride cable so it might be different, but i was told that you should be pretty compfortable with blind 180's, so you will be used to bringing the handle back like that and stuff, so if you can do that, and a scarecrow, you might be able to do it, thats my opinion, i dont know that much about it, thats just what someone told me, good luck with it |

"you should be pretty compfortable with blind 180's"
And how would a bs 180 help a frontside rotation? |

Dawoord- i said thatb ecause thats what someone told me, i was recomended from a coach that i know that you should be able to do blind 180's, i have never done them before, so i wouldnt know from experience, i was just repating what i was told once when i wanted to try a crow mobe |

A switch blind 180 would help, maybe you misheard the 'coach', because a regular blind 180 has no help with a crow mobe. |

i didnt mis here him, he told me that it helps you in the way that, your body wil lbe used to bringing the handle down behind your back like that, or somethnig around like that, so when your in the air doing a crow mobe it will help you to bring the handle to your hip |

Not like a raley, because on the crow mode you catch your heelside edge instead. |

wakegurl, think again. How would doing a blind 180(which is a BACKSIDE spin) help on pulling the handle for a crow mobe(which is a FRONTSIDE spin). They are spinning in two different directions and pulling with two different hands. So a blind 180 is no help for a crow mobe. |

DaWorD- you are definitely right about the backside 180. In order for it to help you on a crow mobe it must be done switch.
Switch backside 180 may help but ts fs 3s would help more, since a crow mobe is a 3 not a 180.
If you are going to try crow mobes make sure you have your crows consistent.
If you are going to try it and you want me to give some pointers just ask.

The only way a BS 180 would be helpful in learning a CrowMobe is if you don't pass the handle on the Crow Mobe and land wrapped. Therefore, learning BS 180's without the pass would be helpful. Just on the landing, though. Obviously. |

Sorry a BS 180 is not gonna help the landing of a crow mobe. Two different landings, one is landing regular wrapped and one is landing switch wrapped. A BS 180 would help a skeezer, but not a crow mobe. |

I don't know why this little battle is still going on. DaWorD and I are right. Being able to do a regular BS 180 will not help with landing a crow mobe. It could possibly help with landing a skeezer (switch crow mobe) due to the fact that you are landing blind and riding away switch, but even then the landing feels completely different.
Trust me this is correct.

While youre talking about mobes how hard is a heelside mobe?? Ive got a consistent heelside backroll and 360, and im starting to land my rolls to revert, but am a bit scared about the extra 180. |

Sean is right, why would you need a bs 180. A crowmobe is a TOESIDE FRONTSIDE spin. You do a scarecrow, followed by a switch BACKSIDE 180. |

Isn`t a crowmobe just one scarecrow with a switch hs blind 180........ Yesterday when I was jumping on the trampoline I figured out that if you pull your knees up while spinning it`s musch easier to spin... Is that easier on the water as well???? |

yo sean, when i do my crows i edge through the wake and take it way into the flats, if i wanted to try a crowmobe, should i try to let off and get the straight up pop or should i just try to take it big like my crows |

I would practice my TS 3's landing wrapped. Then go try throwing my scarcrow off the double up and try passing the handle and if you can't make the pass you'll have a better chance landing it. Toeside 3's are easy to throw late thats prob why it's the easiest mobe. Thanks for the idea. |

i would say the easiest mobe would be the heelside back mobe. quick handle pass, don't need much height and very easy to land. as for crow mobe, the trick is hard either way you do it, whether you land wrapped or pass the handle. if you land wrapped, the landing is the hardest part, if you try to pass it you really got to wait till the last minute to pass it. i would say go back to your basic inverts and throw in a couple grabs before moving on to the crowmobe |
