| Unless im mistaken i think that it is a jetboat. It retails for around 23k so im guessing its a jetboat or a very cheap inboard. |

| They just stopped making them in late 2001 or early 2002. From what I have heard they are nice boats. They stopped making them because they couldn't keep up due to cost. |

Toyota made a DD closed bow its first year, an open bow DD its second, and then finally added a v-drive its third and final year of making boats (1999-2002 I think). They all used the Lexus based 300 hp 4.0L engine (very quiet). From what I remember reading the wakeboarding boat (DD open bow and Vdrive with towers) required a ton of weight to get a good wake, then the 4.0L engine just didn't have the torque needed to comfortably get on plane. The engine being so advanced was also a pain as dealers were instructed to replace the engine for warranty work rather than work on it. I looked into them, but wasn't sure since they weren't established (like the Correct Craft I ended up getting). Their build quality seemed good - nice fit and finish, nice features, etc. Since Toyota's not in the industry anymore, you'll probably be able to find a killer deal on one, but repair work might be a different issue. Hope this helps. _________________ Boat: 2000 Pro Air Nautique
