Get a cheap used one from somebody on this board or the other one or locally. You will probably sell it in a year and get a tower anyway! Tell pops how much storage space you can gain by putting racks on the tower. It makes a big difference. He will get tired of the damn cable, make sure he has to go up in the bow all the time for something....

I got a big air pylon ( www.bigairpylons.com ). The price was good, the quality was good and the customer service was great.

Check with your local boat dealer. They usually get some used ones when they do towers on boats. They might even have a demo for sale.

We had a Skyjac on our Moomba. 349.99 for a one piece and 369.99 for a two piece.
