I'm sure you guys have seen the infomercials for this damn thing. The host is a giant tool, and he does a good job of making the Trikke look as lame as possible, which it is; as well as a waste of good money ($250, to be exact) Thoughts?

Here's a better picture to enhance it's lameness...it just looks like the wheel is on the handlebar stem in the other picture.

it looks like in the second picture he's turning (i assume you lean from side to side to turn), but since he's cut out of his environment, he looks uber homo.

i'd actually like to ride the thing to see what it's like... i wouldn't shell out 250 for it though.

It does. You have to lean it back and forth, like in that pic. Yes it is that gay.

I don't remember what the show is called, but they show you how the stars live, and Brad and Jen bought 30 of those things so all their friends can do it together. They showed someone riding it and he took up most of the boardwalk.

Grouch, I met a guy who claimed to invent that thing at Studio Cafe in Newport. Needless to say I was drunk a took it for a quick spin up the bike path where I immediatly found myself flat on my back wondering wtf just happened...

It's the best thing since beta

Grouch, I wouldn't talk so soon... let's look at you. Your a Mechanical Engineer living in California who posts in this forum 12.74 times per day which is really sad for even the biggest of nerds. Your interests include Roller blading (which has gone out with pogs and the XFL) and freestyle walking (for those of you who don't know this is pretty much jumping in the air while kicking your legs out in random directions while trying to land with out falling on your ass... yes I know it's pathetic.) So I wouldn't be so quick to talk. BTW where might your pictures be?

Dpierce37,

Those small circular paper discs that you stack up and hit with and try and win. Its like marbles of the late 90's. Laughing

I think I was too busy getting drunk in college and playing games that involved either Dice and beer, cards and beer, quarters and beer, ping pong and beer, video games and beer, women and beer, beer, beer and more beer!

Pogs...still have never heard of it before!
