Find someone with a modest digital camera (1.5 Mpixels will be fine) and get some shots of your own boat or you and your friends in action! For the latter will need a modest zoom lens (5 times should be OK) and a lot of patience. The delay between when you press te shutter and when the camera takes the shot on most digital cameras is quite long so it's often difficult to grab" the action. Sequential shooting mode helps but the resolution in video mode is poor so the resulting images aren't good enough for use as wallpapers.

My Nikon N65 has an action setting that takes burst photos. It is pretty cool but boy it eats up film fast. The 70-300mm zoom really makes a difference. My Sony DSC-S85 also has the burst mode but it doesn't have the big zoom.

I have an Olympus E100RS which is a modest pixel count digital camera (1.5Mpixels) but has the equivalent of a 38-380 mm zoom and also takes 15 frames per second. Unlike a conventional camera, all that eats up is memory rather than film and a hole in your pocket!

I bought it on the recommendation of a specialist digital camera store (told them I wanted to take action shots) and it has delivered exactly what they said it would. At miminal compression (highest quality) is takes 11 sequential shots and at medium compression (more than acceptable quality)it will take 27 sequential shots over a 3 second period until the buffer memory is full. You pick the shots you want and ditch the rest.

No longer made but if anyone is interested in taking sports shots with a digital camera, if you can find a used one I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

There are several 2004 Malibu pics in my media section. Click on the link in my signature and look at the Malibu Lifestyle pics. If you want a better resolution, email me the pic name and what size you want and I will send it back to you.
