Yo....

At how many riders in 1 boat do you all prefer to bring another boat and split off? Seems like we have too many friends with boats and although some (like myself) don't mind the long rotations...others do.

Of course the ammount of riding time available can also affect how "tolerant" one can be about rotations but what are y'alls thoughts overall about the subject?

Tks

Joe

4 riders max, 7 people max. I don't care if a boat CAN hold 10-11 people, being cramped sucks and so does waiting forever for your next set.

Max 4 riders and as few people as possible.

Im cool chatting to people on the dock, but when Im out on the water I find its easier to focus and chill out when there isnt many people around.

I like 4 riders max as well.... I hate waiting forever for another pull, plus I usually have too many beers waiting for my next ride.

I love when only 2 friends show up and me. More time on the water for the 3 of us the better it is. I'm not a fan of the more the merrier type of riding, but I'll roll out with how ever many people show up. I get to ride with only a couple people about once or twice a year. Most times it's about 7-9 people riding. That makes for long rotations, but I ride with great people so it's not too bad.

yea 4 riders 6-7 people total is just about perfect for a smooth rotation and enough riding time each..

I don't mind a longer rotation if it's a weekend day and the water is going to be smooth all day, like on a river. That way everyone can get their sets in. However, riding after work during the week is another story.

When you only have 2 1/2 to 3 hours to ride before it gets dark anymore than 4 riders is too many. I prefer 2 or 3, but no more than 4. With only 2 or 3 riders everyone can get multiple sets and still have time to chill at the end and watch the sun go down. With 4 + riders you end up with one set each and no time to chill at the end of the day. One set just isn't worth it to me.
