|

Well finished the newest project yesterday. Neighbors tower speaker canisters. I have to take them to get Powder coated today. Nice tucked up and out of the way. They are about 6' 2" from the floor of the boat. After they are coated then I have to line the inside with sound deadning material. He will run four 5 1/4" Focals in them.

Funk I guess you haven't heard. We sold the Phat-Boy. Our new Pro-V should be here any day now. The system is really going to rock in the new boat. This is just what is going on the tower.

For the boat we will have to wait for it to arrive before we make the final desicion.
Not sure when we will make it up to Seattle. We will have to see how work goes.

Hey Travis,
Looks good! I see you guys went with the outers angled outward. We had discussed that about 2-3 months ago. I'm still working on it. I should be done soon... I HOPE!
How long did you guys make them? Also, is that the 6" Irrigation tubing we had discussed?
Also, how many degrees did you kick em out? One more thing! Who's doing your powdercoating for you?

Mr. Dumass, enough with the ?'s. Haha.
The tubes are 10" long
6" irrigation tubing
Not sure what degree I kicked them out. I just went with what I though looked good.
Commercial Powder Coating in Bend Or. They are the local shop around here.

I'm not sure if you remember, but I had a TON of questions last time! We finally got the 2 Boston Pro 6.5 set ups... they'll be on a Rockford 750X. I'll post some pics when I'm done.. I finally found some 7" irragation tubing!

Mr. Dumass, I was just teasing you. Now it's my turn.
What thickness is the 7" pipe" how much a foot?

Na, I was just letting you know you got off easy this time!
Good news is they make .083 6" tubing if you've been looking for something thicker. I was stuck in a catch 22 because the 7" is only available in .060. Is should work fine and dandy though.
It's rather rough so polishing them isn't possible as I"d hoped. They'll look sweet never the less. I'm using a Boss mount.
