Are any of you going to Nationals this week? Either to compete or just support? I'll be there, so I was hoping to hook up with some other girls who may want to party or just get submerged in wakeboarding with me!

Not sure of which days/when etc. I was hoping to meet up with some folks on here too.

I will be arriving Friday morning, or around lunch, not sure which. I will be there Saturday and Sunday, heading out Sunday night around 7 to fly home. I would love to meet up with some of you.

i'm coming down from Chicago with two of my (guy) friends for the VTC either late Friday or REALLY early Saturday ... in time to see the pro women's comp. keep me posted on if/when anyone's getting together... even if it's just to say hello. Razz

if anyone knows of any partying going on on Friday, that may help us make our decision on what day to come down! Let me know!

Tiger...are you going to be competing at Nationals...if so, what division? My neighbor wanted to go but she doesnt think she will be good enough. What tricks can you do? Have fun!

it's called the precedent. it's in a business complex and the water is strictly for the comp. Last year, the ProTour rolled through there and it was a great venue. it's up by the keystone crossing mall.

oh, ok, up at the crossings...i know exactly where that is at...off of 65 ...i used to go to keystone at the crossings to shop...i bet it has blown up since i saw it last..i lived on the south side of indy, went to Perry Meridian High...

have fun...whats the weather like right now? i used to get my sweaters out around september...its still HOT as HELL here!

It's supposed to be 90 degrees today...rain tomorrow then the rest of the weekend was supposed to be nice. Hopefully we'll have decent weather for this.

Love2wakeboard, yeah, I'm competing in the jr. women's division. Didn't really want to, but i found out that to compete at worlds, which is what i really wanted to do, I have to qualify through nationals. I don't through anything too great... ts 180, half cab, a bunch of slides, switch ts 180, and indy and stalefish grabs.

But I'd love to meet up with some of you! I'm flying out right after I finish writing this, so I won't get to see any posts about where or when. But I'm posting my pic, so if any of you see me.. .please come up and say hi! I'll be wearing that same white bracelet and sunglasses. (I hope my pics not too big either.. if it is... I'm sorry!!) I should be there every day almost all day long. Hope to see you all there!

Barrett, I think it's awesome that you competed and you put up a big 88...well done! Bummer you didn't make finals, but kudos to you for competing. I also saw that Kurt from TWC competed and qualified for finals in his division. Cheer him on for me!

How did TWC end up being? Did it work out ok?

x2xwakegurlx2x, according to the article on the main page, Kurt finished 4th in his division and qualified for worlds.

TWC was awesome. I still got the group discount Mr. Green

You'll never believe it, but there were actually 5 female campers there that week. We were rocking the ladies' boat...quite the novelty. The coaches were very competitive when choosing boats in the morning Wink

I have a pic in my gallery of the girls who were there. Definitely got rid of some bad habits, landed some 180s, and now I'm getting a lot more height out of my jumps. Had a great time!

Thats awsome that it worked out, you had a good time, we had a fun time as well. Everything i did was basically learning, it was my second time there, but also the second time i ever ridden boat, the first time was my first (since i ride cable) i just learned w2w, and w2w grabs and stuff, and hit the mini funbox

Indy was a great time this weekend! Barrett and Tiffany, it was great to meet you and to put (screen)names with faces! You grrls are awesome for getting out there and competing! All the riding was pretty sick and I just can't wait to get out on the water again this weekend! Very inspiring! Smile

My friend Monique rode jr. girls as well. I saw that she placed 3rd, I guessing getting lessons from Billy really paid off for her. It doesn't hurt that she started dating him as well.

I went and rode in girls. i got second Sad

but its cool cus i saw a whole bunch of friends i havent seen in a while and met some new ones. Tiffany i thought you rode well. Do you ride with gus and gunnar alot? their mom was supposed to introduce us cus she thought we would really get along. but you had took off already but im sure we will meet at some point...nice riding to any of the other girls who were there.

Hi there, yeah, I spoke to Mrs Schuller and she wanted us to meet, but we never got the chance. Will you be at worlds in Orlando? The best way to catch up with me is to just go down to the dock during the women's division, you know I'll be there. I ride in Mississippi, so don't get to ride with Gus and Gunner, they are so cute!
I was pleased with my run and placing, I wasn't expecting to do that well, I had already warmed up to last place.
Congrats on second, that is very respectable, be proud.

Tiffanator, Do you know the exact dates of Worlds? I want to try and make it up there if my parents will go. I have never been to a boat competition, let alone worlds, what do you have to do to get in? To watch. Buy a ticket or something? Thanx if ya could help me out.

x2xwakegurlx2x--Worlds is October 3-5 (Friday is usually qualifying for Saturday). It's $5 at the gate to get in.

Yah tiff, i am riding in worlds and we will have to meet down there... I love watching gus ride cus he's so little.fine i guess second is ok. but i AM going to redeem myself at worlds and thats a promise!!!

Depending on what the doc says about my knee today, I will be arriving down there Friday afternoon. I ride Saturday, but will probably be hanging around the site Friday when I get there, otherwise I will be on the cable. Yellow helmet, black and light blue vest, CWB absolute.

i'll be at world's as well... half watching the comp and half on the cables. last year it was too hot to sit and watch all day... it was nice having the cables still in view of the comp so you can watch in between your rides! well, good luck grrls! i'll be down Wed-Sun so I'll be looking for ya!
