White Wash...How do you fix it?

Ok....I got this huge frickin boat....It's a Wellcraft 233 Eclipse 22 feet long and you have to go about 30 mph to get rid of white wash...or whatever you other people call it...(when water crests over wake....)...is there anyway I can get rid of this without going that fast. And I thought a fat sack might help but then i saw they cost about 500 bucks for my size of boat and I can't really afford that...would buckets of sand or something in the front of the boat work? Well if anyone has or has had this problem plz help! Thnx!

is the wake washy closer to the boat from where you are boarding at? if so then try a shorter rope.... if not i dunno how to help you sorry

It sounds to me like the back of the boat is weighted down too much.

I would still by a fat sack (which actually only cost about $70), but I would play with weight first to make sure it is set up before I purchase the stuff. If you are looking to go really cheap, you can go to Menards and get Car sand for the winter for about $5 (which weigh 70 lbs per roll). See if that makes any difference.

Hey, I have that exact same boat, and ive never had that problem???? (I now board behind our 84 concord but i use to use that all the time). Try ajusting your trim tabs maby? And I think it has another tab (somthine like the trim but alittle different, for maby the bow??) i dont know if im helpin or just making you more confused but i know i use to get a huge wake with no weight behind the boat. Also you might be using alot longer line than i did, i used about 50 ft.Ill find mroe info tomorro when my dads not sleepin if u want. hope i can help... WaffleJam2250
