I have been waiting all summer, and the show finaly came. Saturday night was my first of hopefully many dead concert. It was the best concert i have ever been to. I was a little dissapointed with dylans set and that moe got canceled. But the dead made up for it, with an amazing performance.. here is the set list:
Set 1: Let the Good Time Roll > The Wheel > Built to Last, Goin' Down The Road Feeling Bad *, Senor*, Around and Around*, Self Defense, Throwing Stones

Set 2: St. Stephen > Born Cross-Eyed > Sugaree > Jam > Dark Star > Peggy-O > Cryptical Envelopment > Drums > Space + > The Other One > Dark Star > Stella Blue, E: Not Fade Away

if you havnt been to a dead concert i highly recommend you check it out. And for those of you who have, what have been your favorite shows?

the dead died with jerry. the band formerly known as the grateful dead can't seriously think they are doing the right thing. i'm no dead head but i did enjoy the last portland and seattly shows they did together. i don't know if i would have enjoyed it as much if i was sober.

I LOVE the dead, but I still hate the fact that they're touring under that name. The Other Ones fit them just fine.

Ryam M-what are the astericks for? Was someone sitting in? And people who think the dead play noise for dopeys (while the dopey part is right), you must not know the dynamics and difficulty of a jazz-style setup(songs played differently EVERY time)...

whew, there's my $.02...

iowaboarder, the astericks are the songs bob dylan did vocals and piano with them.
