If you're talking about pre-2003 models the factory tower was made by Metcraft. My experience with Metcraft is not good - I don't care for their towers at all. You can find a lot of better quality towers that will fit a Tige. I have a Phat Budde Xtreme tower on my 20v.

Tige's options for towers, is the new met craft tower, which looks pretty nice, and also looks easy to fold down. The other option is Wake Designs tower, which looks really good and sturdy, but is hard to fold down, I think I remember that you have to unscrew two bolts on each side with a tool.

I ment to say that I have used. I have also been behind a wake design on an 01-02 and they were almost as bad. I hope that didn't come out the wrong way but if I were in your position I would want to know the truth.

Tige does not use the Metcraft's any more. I believe they are having them manufactured for them now by a fabricator. I really think the Monster Tower would be the perfect OEM tower for Tige OK, at least an option then. Then they could have the 22V Limited Edition, 22V Riders Edition and 22V Monster Edition.
OK, A guy can dream. Sorry about the shameless self promotion.

Phat Budde Xtreme is the one your looking for, Tige' Watersports in SoCal uses their towers on all the boats they sell out of their dealership. They come from the factory minus the tower and Tige' Watersports has the tower made for you after you pick the color etc.
It has the padding on all four areas sides and top of the tower, and the racks are built into the tower too.[img][/img]
That was the first day out in it, try not to laugh to hard on the farmers tan LOL

Rock-N-Boardin,
Does the bottom boardrack fit well if you have a wider stance? It looks a bit awkward at the bindings.

my samson tower has the same style board racks the built in and i really dont like them. my parks board has really torn up the foam on the top clip part or the rack and the ones that are over head tend to drip water on you if you dont have a bimini. just my opinion on them though.

Tige is making their own tower now in house. They no longer put Wake Designs or Metcraft towers on their boats.

Malibu towers are made by Titan, which copied our design!
OK, inside joke with some others around here.
We looked at many of the towers in this market as well as in the fishing boat market as well as roll bars and racking for trucks, all had cool things we liked about them. We incorporated things nobody had done (the look, the hoop, the way the front legs fold, etc) There were many things we saw used enough to realize they had to be good ideas. We created the design and it truly took a lot of months, and many gallons of "cold, refreshing beverages" to create the final design that went to production.
There were 11 seperate solid models built and until about the 5th or 6th each was a completely new design. There have been several "tweats" as our customers have been great at educating us at anything we had not though about.
No offense take at all. Titan had a press release about lowering their Series I price to $1499 and a bunch of stuff targeted at us a few months after we hit the market which was very flattering. They make a great tower and Titan customers love their Titan towers.
