Brad Embleton,

It was raining down here for like 5 hours today , and we lost power for 3 hours. My suggestion is checking the forecast at weather.com to see if its raining. I also think this is in the wrong forum Mad

That sucks guys. Thats what I like about Cali. It barely ever rains here. When I was Orlando, it rained every day. But the cool thing about Florida is you can ride when it rains.

let me just say no stuff. I was so mad earlier today... I had to work but I got off at 5, so me and my buddy were gonna go do some serious riding - just two of us. Sunshining ALL day long, then when I get off. Boom, here comes the rain, we went and put the boat in and sat under the bridge for 45 mins. regardless... waited waited waited... NOPE. Im pretty sure I have to work every other weekend/evening this week. Of course when we get back to the house it stopped raining. And tomorrow morning I have to take a calc final - miserable Puppy Eyes

LIAR!!!!! Maybe where you are in Florida it hasn't been raining, but here it's rained for at least 30 minutes, 5 days out of every week for the past 2 months or so. Which is very unusual, I like the dry spells better, like one year it didn't rain at all for 3 months at least, bad for the farmers though, and brush fires.

I have no problem with riding in rain, it's riding when it's lightening that I won't do.

Can't even remember the last time it rained here. It's been over 100 degrees every day for at least the last 3 weeks.

Later, OrFan.

It doesn't rain here either which makes the lake rise and fall 3 feet or so a day. If it does rain, it spits rain for 5, then quits, but the lightning continues for an hour or so. Only bummer is it is really windy for 3 hrs before it rains and 3 hrs after so every afternoon when I want to ride, it is too windy! BOOO!!!

If I could send some rain your way, I would. There is no riding in the rain where I am at, not unless you want to be fried by lightning. High wind also. I live in the lightning capital of the world.

Aligators I can deal with, but lightning, well, I'm a little more cautious of that since one of my husband's friends got fried a few years ago on the fourth of July standing in the river, lighting off fireworks.

Here's hoping it rains wherever it is needed.

Last year my lake was so dry you could have played pro. football on the beach! Then I want on vaction and get back and it is under my dock! and it has not stoped rain it seems like!!

I want on vaction this year to In., Michagan, and Nigria Falls and no rain till Geogia then pours all the way home!! My dock is about to go over(1 inch)- the lake is like level with my dock!

Aus. we will try and send the rain and lighting to you!! I fell your pain with a low lake-if you have weeds growing were water was take your wakeboard time and pull them out! I wish I did-I have to try and wakeboard thow like 50 feet! and when it is getting late and gators are starting to think about coming out and you fall in the middle of the weeds it is not fun!

Well speaking of rain-it already started!

We have tons of 'em here too. They are definately off of the endangered list. Bad thing is, they see my 4 yo as snack food so we have to really be careful.

Where I'm at they say, for every 1 you see while you are water skiing, you probably drove over 4. I'm sure it goes the same for wakeboarding.

It has been raining a lot here too, but they key is to go ride when it is not raining. We had the lake completely to ourselves this morning at 7am. We left about 9:30am. Well worth waking up a little early for.

We had 7 straight days over 100 here and on the 8 day it was 95 and for the past 4 days it been over 100. we've had 16 days over 100 this month. it was 106 yesturday, 90 at 1030 last night and it suppose to be 105 today. Talk about being sick of the heat.

It was raining today but I chanced it and drove up to the lake anyways. I had my runs in with time to spare. We pulled out and it started raining. Pretty good timing. The boat is soaked though.
