I've done this trick a couple times only flatland now but i have to set my feet way back. Then it flips really fast but it starts to go upright. sometimes it is more level and I can land it but others it is vertical. |

I can't even do kickflips so my advice may be useless.
Anyway, couldn't you just move your feet up, pop higher and flick harder? |

i can do em ok. my suggestion is to take your leading foot and put it closer to your backside rail. this means you can move your leading foot up farther. the board goes up because your flipping off the side of the board and not off the nose. get regular flips down first. if you can stick those solid then just do the same thing but flick harder. hope this helps. practice and keep skatin'!!!!

My suggestion is if you can do them, that's good. If you can't, don't spend lots of your time learning. It's cool to do but not if you have to learn it. Kind of like powerslides and such. If you really want to though, get about a medium pop and a good flick. (If you pop too high you'll lose your board) |

Double kickflips really aren't hard at all. All you have to do is keep your feet in the same position as you do for regular kickflips and flick your toe out a bit harder and faster. Watch the board rotate and try to catch it the second time around. After a while you get used to the timing and they become very simple. If you can do a normal kickflip you can do a double, just takes a bit of practice. |
