I tried a couple of these the other day...the rotation feels really weird to me compared to other flips i can throw. Do you throw your head straight back or what? I find it hard to spot the landing also.

I'm working on this trick also and can ride out about 25% of my attempts, but in my experience the rotation feels more like bringing my knees in and around then just looking back. Yeah, you're spot on about seeing the landing, but I can't see much in the air with any move I'm upside down!

Keep in mind my instructional skills suck, so I could be leading you down a path to destruction!

Good luck!

Are you guys like brothers or something?

One of you should change your screen name before you get too many posts.

I was just suggesting it. It would make it easier for you and us down the road to tell you and your posts appart. The last thing you want is people to think you are someone else when you really are not, they might bash you for something you didn't say/type.

There are a few keys to the ts backroll that you should consider next time you go out. First, to solve your problem about spotting the landing just remember to keep your eyes open. I have to remind myself when riding sometimes to keep my eyes open in the middle of a trick. Second, it is important to wait until you have released from the wake before you start your flip by thrownig your head back. Be sure to press through the wake to maximize your pop. Finally, keep that handle in close to your front hip. Good luck!

i tried one a few weeks ago and i almost flipped before i even hit the wake. i ended up face planting upside down and my contact lens got jammed up in the top of my eye.

yeah i used to do them, i just throw it like a toeside tantrum ( or gainer) that may not be the best way, but it worked for me. Except on a few when i would stal mid air, and not quite get all the wak around.

Another good thing that really helped me was going into the wake have the handle out and as soon as you hit the wake pull the handle into your front hip w/ one hand. This really helped my rotation and also it was really easy to ride out of it cuz the handle stays at your hip.
