Hello again,

I am thinking, not really thinking, but i am going to buy a new wake board. But i live about an hour and a half away from the nearest wakeboard shop or at least a place that sells wakeboards. Right now i am using my friends wierd painful cheap walmart board. So the question is do I buy a wake board on the net or do i drive to look at them and buy? The main thing i am worried about is getting bad bindings..

Later
Logan

Go to the shop. There is no substitute for a discussion with people that know their stuff. I took my son to a shop to get a new board last summer. I went this route because I didn't really know enough about wakeboards. It took well over an hour to find the right board. We went through height, weight, current tricks, tricks he planned on getting into, riding speed, board feel, etc. Based on the discussion, the guy narrowed it down to 5 boards. From there it was advantages/disadvantages to each board. Then my son picked his board. My son swears by his board. The internet may save you a couple of $$$, but the info you get in person was worth it. Your board is your most important piece of gear. Dont shortcut selection

go to the store and look around. Figure out what you want and see if your can get it cheaper on the net. Most of the time you can get your stuff cheaper online. But you have to wait for it to be shipped.
