Hey guys,
Beginner here and am trying to do surface 180's. Whats the best way to do it. I try to jump and turn at same time and end up with the board perpendicular to the boat and do a faceplant. any help would be great. |

well, you don't jump for a surface 180, that's why it's called a SURFACE 180, it's not in the air. Just let go of the handle with your back hand (right hand if you ride regular) and let your body move the board around naturally, while the board is turning you want to keep your wieght on your heels, once the board has turned shift your wieght to your oposite (now back) foot. _________________ ...say goodbye |

| yea whatever you do make sure you put weight on your heels, this will prevent you from doing a face plant. Also, to make it easier riding switch, get up and instead of going to your normal posistion goto the opposite one. This also make it easier to surface 180 because you will end up in your regular stance |
