I'm only learning how to ride and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to do toeside jumps. I've got heelside jumps dialled, but every time I go for a toeside jump I get about 5cm of air and spin out of control. Could someone please help me out. That's all. Thanx.

mmm.... keep the handle in low and close to your waist, don't cut in too hard at first... you'll get it.

(I know this isn't really very helpful Mr. Green )

Dont look at the boat, look at the shore.

If you are not getting any air, you need to go back to the progressive edge and make sure you hold that edge through the wake... sounds like you are sucking up the impact....DON"T DO THAT! for a basic wake jump your strongest edge should be at the wake..

Keep both hands on the handle at all times. Drift in and slowly build your edge so that it's strongest at the top of the wake, don't bend at the waist it will throw you on your head. As you ride up the wake stand tall and and keep pressure on your toes. Stay stoic in the air and you will land smoothly.

your spining out of control problem is in your waist, only turn your head to the shore, dont square your body to it, other wise your back foot will most likely spin (like a blindside 180).... Arrow not good.

All the advice above is great, good luck

yeah, thanks everyone. I'm getting some more air and landing about halfway between the wakes, but when I go to stand tall and ride off the wake I lose some of my speed. This happens with my heelside jumps as well. How do I keep my edge going when I straighten my legs?

You want to still be leaning agaisnt the boat when you stand tall. You really stay on your edge but straighten your knees at the top of the wake while still holding your edge to get good pop and to maximise line tension.
