backroll V. tantrum

Someone explain the difference between a tantrum and a backroll.

edge is completley different, tantrum= cut hard, let off edge and wake trips you around like a backflip on a tramp. backroll= edge through wake and look up and over your lead shoulder and rotation is automatic. check the trick tips section

if are going to try one, do tantrums. They are way easier, atleast on my landings. Backrolls are fun also, but I just landed by 8th consecutive trantrum and I learned both of them 4 rides ago. Good luck! Razz

i can do tantrums, front rolls, and scarecrows, but still no go on the back rolls, i mean i landed a few last year and i thoguht i had it made, but i tried it this year and cant do any, so i really need sum practice on those cuz i cant seem to get them Confused

are scarecrows THAT hard? how long did it take you to learn them?
