Hey guys , i am currently in gr10 and go to a catholic school where ther is 700 students. I have lots of friends at this school but i am switching to the public school which has 2700 kids, any tips or suggestions? None of my current friends are switching so i will no no one. Embarassed

i went to a private christian school since 5th grade and when i came to college it was badass. you can cuss during class discussions and no one cares. you can also wear whatever you want, you dont have to shave ever if you dont want to or even get a haircut. it's the schitt man. your gonna have fun. just be yourself and people will like you for who you are.
on the first day take note of where all the hot girls sit then on the next day get to class early and sit in a seat next to theirs. then they'll come sit by you and you can start a conversation. they'll never know you planned it that way.

dude private school sucked. they could do anything they wanted. you couldnt have hair past your collar in the back and your sideburns couldnt be passed the bottom of you ears and you had to be clean shaven or they would send your ass home.

yea my school i go to now had uniforms, and we couldnt have like shags-i broke that rule, and just wow i cant belive how gay my current school is

My history teacher is somewhat a cross between Mousolini(sp) and Hitler.

those are the best ones---u never need history in life cause it's history----right now my world history teacher who coaches football,softball,and swim teams gives us a crossword puzzle 3 days a week, notes 1 day and the every friday we color a map Very Happy

im not the most studious person myself but history is actual interesting when you get in college. you learn all kinds of cool stuff that coach never taught you. like did you know christopher columbus was a giggilo for the queen and that's how he got his ships? all sorts of cool stuff like that.

well when it gets interesting i'll pay attention but if i can get a 97 in a class and do almost nothing i am happy

in art class once, i was suposed to do a drawing at night, and i forgot so i gave the teacher a blank sheet of paper and said i drew a polar bear in a snow storm, and i got a 71% for creativity! Laughing

Yea I go to a small Christian private school... only 400 kids... it sucks major... all losers too... I absolutely hate it. I never hang out with kids from the school. They've invited me to so many things and I've gone to maybe 2 in four years being there. After summer break I had a bleached shag and they made me cut it and die it back to my normal colour. It's pretty brutal. My hair's almost longer than it was before though, and I'm gonna bitch if they tell me to cut it again.

Anyways, from my perspective I'd just look at it as a way to make some new friends and be in a new environment. I wanted to switch schools this past year, but my parents wanted me to finish where I am. I really wouldn't worry about it though Sean, just be yourself and make an effort to get to know people and I almost guarantee you'll like it as much (if not more) than your old school.

also offer to take girls to lunch at first. this tool came to my school in 10th grade and he took every hot girl to lunch at least once before they figured out what a tool he was. im not sayin your a tool but im sayin girls like confidence and will give you a chance if you ask them. i think they also kinda feel sorry for the new guy so milk that one too. i know its easier said than done but just think what do you have to lose and what do you stand to gain.

Actually it is really confusing, i go on monday for one day, and since my school was on strike they extended the semester to feb 11, so i go on monday then go to my normal school for the rest of the week, then monday after that i go to my new school then tuesday-Friday, i do exams at my current school and go to mky new school when im done-Talk about craming!

The first day you should walk in with a cross and whenever you see an infidel hold up the cross and yell "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU" and sprits them with holy water. Just a thought.

well today was my first day of school . Ity was amzing! I sat beside the hottest girl ive ever seen in my life in civics!~ I just gotta get the nerve to talk to her tommorow. Also chatted it up with some foxes at lunch, and sat across from a really hot chick in guitar class. Thanks for all the support and the guildlines for finding Fwb's!
