anyone know anything about boats built for ocean fishing? i'm looking around for one but have no clue about name/quality etc...
i've seen a bunch of boats that i'd be interested in, but the ones that i really like are made by Hatteras, Tiarra, Whaler, Luhrs and Grady White. so i guess my i have one basic question... whaddap with those boats??? |

| Mako also makes a good fishing boat, as does Shamrock - they both have websites easy to find. All those you mentioned are quality boats as well. |

I would say Grady White is one of the the best Center counsole fishing boats out there. But if you got money to blow go get you one of these:

I agree with the above,
Grady White = great ( personal experience )
Boston Whaler - the larger ones may surprise you
Depending on what style of fishing - trolling is really comfortable in the 28'-36' range with almost all Searays and Bayliners,. _________________ I'm hung like Einstein,

I would say there are probably better websites for this discussion, unless you are looking to wakeboard from your ocean fishing vessel too. Proline boats seem like good boats to me, but then again, i have no idea what i am talking about. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

| you should also look into Davis Boats, they make awesome offshore boats. You also can't go wrong with a Grady White or a Shamrock. |

| Skagit Orcas are great boats. Friend of my dad's used to own Skagit Orca, but now they're produced by C-Dory (also great boats). Both are respected brands in the Pacific NW. |

i would say go for a Boston Whaler. i have a 21 ft boston whaler. its awesome. if your doing trolling u might wanna put a kicker on it because we put a 300 mercury hammer on mine so it trolls to fast but a kicker would work fine. _________________ wakeboard for life |

| I don't know if THAT'S true. If I recall, I tried to send a wave or two your way a few weeks back and got no love in return. The therapy bills are adding up at this point. I would say maybe you confused me with Erik's mom but that would leave me with much bigger problems, wouldn't it? How are things, Sir Freakness? |

eldorett, if i didn't wave it is surely because i didn't see you. you and erik aren't included in the "unfriendlies" on that lake. i thought that was implied?? so you can unbind the panties now! anywho, things are good and i hope things are good with you as well. btw, i saw you trying something new the last time on the water. what was that?
erik, i'm not selling the tige. keeping the tige until a better deal comes along. i'll never be without a wakeboard boat. i am looking to add an off-shore something or other to my collection though...
hey, i heard you guys towed my boat to the ramp the other day i took it up to maine this past week and figured out what was wrong with it. it turned out to be a loose wire on my tach shorting on the hot lead of the tach. you wouldn't think it could happen but it shutdown my computer, which in turn shut down my fuel pump, etc... but no worries she's running like a champ again. all with the turn of a screw or in this case a nut. |
