We tried the "Launch Seat" in our 1982 Ski Nautique yesterday for the first time at Lake Sonoma. We filled it and discovered our ski platform was sitting about 2-3" below the water line.

The size of the wake was absolutely intimidating.

I had just 80 pounds of water jugs in the bow, which was not nearly enough. The bow was so far out of the water it was hard to see to drive the boat.

We were just about to start riding when an unexpected lightning storm started, so we gave up and took the boat out of the water. Nobody got to ride at all. Can't wait to try it again another day.
