Im looking at one of these that is relatively close. It has 1500 hours on it, comes with extended pylon, 4 board rack, two fat sacs, new upholtesty, cd player and some life jackets. It has 1500 hours on it. What do you think is a price that i should ask for?

Heres the link - http://flipsell.com/Phase3/home/DispVehicle.asp?VehicleID=3484

Will some take interior picutes and dash pictures. Also will somone tell me about how big the ski locker is and storage

I don't think I would pay as much as he is asking. I got my 87 for 8500 and it had less than a fifth of the hours that one has on it. That boat does include some nice extras though. I'd pay around 7500 for it.

The price seems to be supply and demand, depending on what boats are going for in your area. Use the NADA guide but be prepared to pay the going price. I just bought an 89 Ski Supreme in excellent shape with extended pylon and fat sacks, with 380 hours on it and an excellent tandem axle trailer. I had looked at other boats but noticed people aren't budging on their prices to much right now as a lot of people are buying boats. I would probably pay around $8500 for that Nautique in my area(Oregon/Washington)

The same boat in my area would easily bring around 10,000. I have an 87, and I believe the interior is the same, and there is storage under the seat where you can put ski ropes and some weight and there is some storage in the front. We put all of our jackets (8 or so) in it. I wouldn't worry about the hours, I know a guy with one that has about 2900 hours on it and runs great (mine has 490 hrs.) I will try to send you some interior pics tomorrow, my boat is at my shop and I can't leave my house because I got my wisdom teeth out tuesday Sad

Brian B., there is no such thing as a ski locker in a ski nautique 2001

and basically the only storage is in the bow.

dliguori, i think the beam is like 85

Your right, orzech, the beam of the boat is 84 inches. The storage is mininmal, but for the money, you probably won't get much more storage in a boat. The bow gives you some storage space and a little under the back seat is all.

I've got a similar boat, 82 mastercraft. 19' closed bow. Just yesterday I moved the fat sacks from the sides of the engine to the bow and behind the engine. I rigged up a hose to get to the sack in the bow.

So now, I have NO storage in the boat, but the wake seemed to be of a better shape.

The front of the nautique will be a little different than the mastercraft though. The hoses and cables in the mastercraft go through a hole in the floor, leaving the whole bow for storage, where the nautiques have a box built for all of the hoses and cables to run through behind the drivers foot rest. It is possible to put some weight up there, but with sacs it would be hard to get it all centered. lead bricks would work well as weight in the front though.
