I just scored a new straight line yellow jacket. It's supposed to be the best out there. Havent tried it yet, but im going to use it Sunday. It set my girl back 88 bucks.

Straight Line's Yellow Jacket (or any of the colors) is the best I've used. However, it does tangle very easily.

Is the difference between these two straight line ropes. 1. Straight Line Ultra Lite Line, and 2. yellow jacket.

1. costs between 50-60 bucks
2. costs 80-90 bucks

They are both zero stretch.

I'm not sure about the Ultra Lite Line, but I know the Yellow Jacket is covered with neoprene and it floats. Maybe that's the difference??

I've heard that before too. But what I want to know is if there is a difference in it's performance. By the way, does the less expensive one sink?

If they are both zero stretch, then the performance difference is PROBABLY not noticeable. I think that the cheaper one does not float, at least not like the neoprene covered line. I believe the purpose of the yellow jacket was to be seen by color and floatation.

yes the yellow jacket floats... the other is still non strech but thrust me, you'll wanna buy a jacked rope... I have a plain spectra rope and sometimes I feel like hanging someone with it... it keeps getting tangled and tangled really bad... and... Public-Enemy... thrust me there is a difference between both... my advise, any kind of jacketed spectra...

Hey,
The accurate yellow jacket, rocks other then the price!!! but you'll have to decide on length depending on were you want to ride your wake, and how wide your wake is, but, longer is better, in this case LOL!!!!
