Am looking to put a universal pylon into my boat this week (or next) while I'm replacing the interior. I've been searching the internet and this site and everyone seems to like the Big Air Universal Pylon. I found the Joystick website and it does not have the price for thier universal pylon, nor have I been able to find the price anywhere else. Anyone anything about these pylons? quality, price, etc. Whats the better buy, Big Air or Joystick? The Joystick looks sturdier but what do I know. I need it to be able to set it up and take it apart fairly easy. Any other brands that I should look at for a little more money?. FYI I do not have an existing pylon or base and have an outboard. Any info appreciated.
On my old boat, I had a 19' Caravelle i/o and used the Universal Big Air Pylon and had no complaints with it. Installation was pretty straight forward. Just had to deal with the cables that go towards the rear of the boat. But any pylon has that. We could take it down when we were done in minutes. I thought it was actually cheaper then the Skylon.
i have a big air pylon and it works great. and i think the joystick pylons is more expensive _________________ Theres a fine line between bravery and stupidity-Johnny Knoxville
