wake 2 wake help

ya im really new all i tryed is jumping and i can't quite make it to the other wake. i've read all the tips on ow to do it but i can't get it. anyone got some advice ? thanks

Keep trying. If you have read all of the tips then there probably isn't anything else we can tell you. Have you also read the instructionals on wakeboarder? Basically you have to edge harder and hold the edge until you pop off the wake.

ok , i know your not supposed to "jump" u just stand tall ... when should i stand?

It's like your driving your feet into the wake. Stay on edge through the wake and drive your feet in at the last second. Keep your back straight and pull the rope into your waist .

i stand tall right as a I ride up the wake. if the problem is air, concentrate on holding the edge all the way through the jump (keeps the line tension) and make sure you're standing tall instead of absorbing the wake with your knees like a skier does. if you're not going far enough, ege out further and pick up more speed. IMO, if you can get a good enough pop off the wake then distance is not an issue...

dude the best way is to shorten the rope so the wakes are closer together. all the stuff the other guys said is true but get comfortable clearing a narrow spot on the wakes first. what i did was just tie my rope off a little shorter and started clearing the wake consistantly. once you start landing in the flats at the shortened length just let a little more line out.
