Froggy busted his grill.

Dont know if anyone has posted anything about this yet, but Froggy messed up his face pretty bad on a slider a week or so ago. Not sure of the specifics but he nailed his face on it. He broke his nose, had to get over 50 stitches, and plastic surgery.

Depends on what kind of helmet you wear and how you hit the rail. A helmet could really help.

Maybe we should all wear full body armor all the time so we never get hurt. Actually, we should never go outside or do anything active for minimizing anybody getting hurt.

last year ripping snow shred kale stephens ripped his nose off while trying to load his sled onto his truck. The ramp slipped out and rrrrriped his nose off. It was gnar buckets at its best. Be careful out there kids.

Then noses are a real problem, sticking way out like that. I've cracked mine three times and it's pretty ugly at this point.
OUCH - Home he gets back on the board quick. Saw him at the Wakeboard Masters at Calloway this year and WOW, I hope I can ride like that when I grow up Smile

yeah, all that was left was a big bloody hole. I have a picture of that accident in a magazine (kale's) but It is pretty graphic. This guy is crazy, he was even posing for the camera without a nose! ahhhhhh!

Froggy required 59 stitches to repair the damage. The good news is that it is healing nicely and he rode very well this past weekend up in Sacramento at the Malibu Open. Apparently he caught his board as he tried to hit an A frame and ended up getting cut up pretty bad - all the way to the bone. He missed the Kelowna Pro Tour stop but is back on the water now and even the scars are hardly visible. I took this pic on Saturday:

Wow, they did a good job if that truely is ten days after the accident. He's got alot of heart already getting back on the water.

What do you mean that the scars are not that bad? You can totally see them not to mention how crooked his nose still is. That is pretty harsh.........hopefully the pink will oon go away..

god if thats the best his plastic surgeon can do then someone might want to put his name out there so women will know not to get crazy lopsided boob jobs. He looks fine except his nose was taped on at the wrong spot. Good luck with that Froggy, oh and when are you gonna lose the amphibian name? Phillip is a cool name. How did that come about? How come your brothers are all pollywogs, and tadpoles? I think it's tme to bequeth Froggy to Tadpole or whoevers closest to your age. I should write for Alliance.
