Ok, I have two questions. I can ollie almost a foot high, but half the time I land with my back foot on the tail. I don't want to snap the board, so what do I do?
Second, when I bs shuv-it, I always land a foot forward on my toeside. Is this ok, and if not, how do I fix it? |

its okay if you land on the tail. it wont break unless its like a cheap wal mart board or something. you may want to learn your shuvits moving it teaches you to keep the board under you. |

If you're landing your pop shuvits it doesn't matter where you are, as long as you're landing 'em. I think as you practice more & more you won't drift as much either.
As for your ollie dilemma, I don't think you need to worry about busting the tail unless you're doing big gaps. By the time you're ready to do that you'll have figured out your ollie technique & more than likely your back foot will end up on the bolts. |
