Cool Brett come on by we will be in schoolhouse campgrounds site 14D starting Friday night. We might change spots during the week but will still be in schoolhouse.

shast is so sweet, i'm a chico state grad, skied shasta many time and lake oroville. were doing a houseboat trip at oroville this aug if anyone wants in, I may or may not have my boat, but my buddy in chico still has his. hey miller hit me up with a pm or give me a call for pics......

Hey Millertyme...I think we were neighbors at Lahontan on Memorial Day Weekend! I was in the spot(s) next to your group heading back towards the showers. We had fun too but not much of a boating/riding weekend. Here's a pic I got when that downpour was heading towards us.

Maybe we will meet up at the lake later this summer.

Millertyme, How was Bullard's? I couldn't make it that far, but went to Boca over the weekend for a quick trip - it was great in the early morning yesterday!

Unfortunately, my daughter wasn't able to get out of the water - she was close, but tired out after 10 tries Sad

Is anyone riding around here over the 4th of July weekend?

Was the road across the dam open to get to the boat launch at Boca or do you have to drive the long way around to get to the launch still?

bigwake77, The road was still closed... but they didn't have to drive far from where we were to get the boat in - there was a day use place about 1/2 mile down from our camp ground that had a dirt ramp into the water - then again, the boat was a small / older malibu 6 seater - I'm not sure I would try to get anything bigger in at that spot. Question

C4Avalanchen, Nice! I don't know the water temp, but that was about 8am, the air was cold, but the water was warm - just boardshorts & a bikini...

I went to Lahontan on fri-sat, complete repeat of memorial day weekend. The water didn't seem that slimy to me. My friends are out there for the entire week and I was thinking about going back out there this weekend, but..... as much fun as beer bongs and Pabst Blue Ribbon is, i'd like to actually ride my damn board for a change. Maybe I'll come out and join you guys at Pyramid for a few hours. I'll know more by Friday.

Sounds good brett we will be at pelican I hope. I cant make it out till saturday morning, but will stay till sunday. Mel your welcome to come out anytime. Not sure how many are coming yet. Brett might be good to have a 2nd boat just in case we have a few boat fulls. Forcast calls for weekend temps in the 100s!!!

I am going camping either to Bullards or Lahontan on the weekend of August 18-20. Have to see if we can get a spot at Bullards first, otherwise its Lahontan. Everybody on this thread is welcome to come out (gilby00, nvchickadee, mykidsdaddy, etc...) Just want to have a get-together before summer ends.

Alright, for those of you who are going up to Lahontan this weekend, we are in the Silversprings Shore #3 campground. Go left at the 3-way section and we're all the way at the end. My Centurion is blue and white and our trailer is white with maroon striping. It's a Zeppelin II. See you there!
