Word, this is the biggest thing I learned by trying the One. It doesn't seem to be like this with LF. My Harley feels great right off the shelf and I don't know anyone trying different fin combos on LF pro model boards, at least not behind the boat.

I didn't realize that Ronix does things differently. I guess Ronix wants to give a customizable ride and really encourages the rider to experiment with different fin setups and find what works for them, especially since Ronix boards tend to be closer to "baseless" and really depend on this fins for control rather than the bottom features that LF boards use. I'm confident that if I'd had the time to do mess around with it, I would've found a feeling that I really liked.

I'm definitely not gonna let my experience with the big fins on the One turn me off to Ronix. I really don't need a new board right now, but I've been eyeing the Mana and I'll be sure to give Ronix a shot when I'm ready to buy again.
