There isn't a DAMN thing wrong with the Vizios. There are some bad looking cheaper TVs, the Vizios are not one of them. Costco is a great place to pick up a TV. I use a Sceptre 32" for my pc monitor, was cheap but looks great.

Though im good friends with the daughter of the CEO of petters group (owners of polariod) and was looking to pick up one of their larger panels, i can say out of the 3 she has in her house, only 1 still works. Could have just been the defects that she got for free but i dunno.... great company though (petters group) always doing great things for our graduate program here.

I just ordered one of these yesterday and it arrives Saturday. It is a 61inch JVC 1080p HDILA/DLP to replace my old Philips 60PP9753.

I didn't get it from Amazon, but here is a link:
http://www.amazon.com/JVC-HD61FN97-1080p-HDILA-Projection/dp/B000HE8JA2

At only 19inches deep, and the fact that many people put these on stands anyway, the rear projection and DLP sets are a really good way to go - particularly with 1080p. This one is phenomenal for gaming and the picture quality is on par with lcd sets that cost over twice as much.

Plus it has something called "twin mode". Think football game on one side and a video game on the other side.... Nerd heaven.

I payed almost 50% more than that for my 55" 720p projection lcd two years ago. It's amazing how much the price has dropped on the quality large tv sets. It's impossible for me to justify buying a new tv just to upgrade from 720p to 1080p, but if I was in the market, that looks like a great buy.
