TP83, which fliptrick ledge challenge are you talking about?
As for Rob & Big's, I remember taking a long time to finish it the first time, but then when I went through the game again it was a lot easier. Don't approach the ledge straight on, you'll lock a nosegrind instead of a crooked. Come in from a steeper angle, that way even if you're pressing straight up on the right stick it'll end up being a crooked.
That stupid globe thing jacks my score too. But if you win the first two events you don't hafta worry as much about that one. |

HA HA! It took me a while to figure out, you mean the pro challenge for Ali Boulala. Oh man, a pirate, that's priceless!
Yeah, that one took me a bit. It's not necessarily timing so much as placement. I think I veered just a slight bit right, and I was able to manual down more of the ledge and then hit the bank at the right angle to not splatter myself. |

This is great advice, it makes SKATE a 5 trick game. |

Got this game in the mail this week, getting the hang of it. Some of the challenges make me want to throw the controller through the big screen. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

| The hardest part is becoming adept at the flickit controls. Once you have that most of the challenges aren't too difficult. |

Just kinda ride towards the camera on the map. I think it's on the border between the Rez and Old Town, but I'm not sure. I just rode towards it on the map, that's easiest. |

The drop down to the lower section in the Matrix plaza will take care of at least 30 ft jumps. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

I seem to have done all of the challenges except 3 videos which I don't think I can knock out. They are the get 3500-4500 pts, 6 grinds, etc etc. Where is the best stop to try and knock those out?
I thought beating every last pro at SKATE would give me some kind of progress, but nada.
EDIT, found this FAQ, has alot of good tips.

For high point challenges the key is to link flip tricks with grinds and manuals.
Go to the Rez, up the hill from LL skateshop. The downhill grade will help you lock in really long grinds. Flip trick into a grind on the center divider. Flip and/or spin into another one, and do it again if you can. Land in a manual and flip out if you can, that oughta bump up your 3x multiplier. From there on out pop a few nollie tres or laser flips and you oughta hit your point total easy. Alternatively, you can hit the center divider again and throw some more flip in/flip out stuff.
The other thing you can do is hit the halfpipe in the Plan B factory or the one at the community center. A couple Christ airs and some flip tricks can get you the points you need. |

If it were just points I would be ok, but they add a 45 long single grind or a 25 foot powerslide in there that blows my chances. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |
