Saturday was great! The water was cool but the wetsuit worked great. The new wakeboard was awesome too. The water was choppy but all in all a great day. I need alot of practice.

no pics we left the camera under the seat in the car. No water temp...no water temp gauge on the boat. The water temp was tollerable because the guy we towed ...his wife skied without a suit and said the water was cold but ok. I wakeboarded without a suit last year in October so what do I know. Mr. Green

It was 90 on Saturday so the cold water was refreshing. Plus I had a few frosty beverages to numb the pain. Wink

That helps. If it is somewhat tolerable without a suit it must be getting into the high 60's or lower 70's. Last I saw on a fishing report was getting into the 60's. I'm hoping to go out Sunday or maybe an evening next week.

Skiatook was between 65 and 75 last week. It got quite a bit warmer from the last time which was around 62. We're definitely getting in the normal season, but I'm keeping the suit on till about June. haha

cross, we're moving to OKC in the summer. We'll probably hit Arcadia and Draper the most. PM me your contact info and we'll figure something out. There's a couple other guys on here down in the area, too.

cross12920, Draper is the better lake in that area. And closer to you I would think. Like Okie said, I know there are some guys on here that go out there, maybe they'll chime in.

That's a pretty big range, Chris. But, sounds like the temps are getting pretty good. I'm glad to hear that. We're hoping to go out Sunday and then again fairly soon. It will be nice to not have to use wetsuits.

LOL VG6. I'll be sure to warn my wife about that for whenever we meet up.

Around the ramp at Tall Chief it's been significantly warmer for some reason. Where we were riding was about 67 last time out.

At eufaula now despite the crappy weather. Rode this evening in a wetsuit and it wasn't bad at all even though it was overcast and the air temp in the 60s. Didn't ever look at the water temp. Picture from tonight below.

Cross, we keep our boat out at Eufaula during the summers so I don't make it out to tbird often. You should look into the OU wakeboard team. I never got involved with it but you should be able to find some people to ride with through it. There should be a facebook group for it.

Good news is, I'm probably going down to texoma tomorrow for a weekend at the lakehouse... I can't freakin wait though. I've pulled like three all-nighters this week for finals (obviously tonight was one) and its finally over in like 3 hours.. Shocked

You know, I've found cloudy and drizzly days seems like they're always the best for smooth water. It also keeps away the recreational boaters which, when combined, helps give you smooth water. As long as you don't mind a few sprinkles or a cooler day, it can usually be a great day for boarding.

I need a pull this weekend... I don't have a battery yet and my friend that works at advanced auto parts says he can get me a discount on a battery but not before Monday. Sooooooo if any of you guys are going out this weekend I would sure like to go.

Well, I thought I might run down to Tenkiller today, but I'm not sure it I will now. Tomorrow though, we're trying to get a bunch of people out at Skiatook. My buddy will be taking his Tige out and another guy, Rob, from Sun and Ski will probably be out there. He's got a Mobius LSV, and his buddy has a Sanger that they board behind. We'd like to see you guys out there. We've got to put together a contest run for next week. Anyone planning on going to the Grand Lake Wake Festival? I'm riding in the comp and thinking about the rail jam also.

Okie, VG6 and I made it out to Skiatook yesterday. We put in around 3 and rode for the afternoon.

The weather for this upcoming weekend looks amazing. I just hope it holds out.

How they can guestimate the wind a week in advance is beyond me but I think Sunday is out for Skiatook.
