^^^^Forget Letang, just read what he is looking for.... Nope...and not because the Avs don't have $$$ to spend.
I don't know, will have to address the D later in the draft and really, with a trade or FA's. |

| Cant wait for this draft next week. It appears that the Canes will get an elite player, likely Nichushkin-a Rick Nash or Evgeni Malkin type player, depending on who you ask. |

Instead, I sent it to K-Dub who in return gave it to one of the aussie's on their visit.
I will never deny that period. However, I said until he dies or sells the team I am boycotting.
Rocky extended the Olive Branch and I have clutched it tightly since.
It's worth mentioning, I never bought or cheered for another team during my boycott. And, people like me who boycotted are the ones responsible for the franchise's culture-position today. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

I am sure the players think otherwise. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

Trust me, between 98-08, nobody wanted to play in Chicago. It was definitely the dark ages of hockey in this town. Now we have the renaissance.
There was a very long article basically saying, if you keep paying to see a crap team the owner will never step up.
Look at the cubs and their stupid fans. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

On NHL Network they do this 48 hour thing, following a team or players ect for 2 days. Anyway, they did with the Blackhawks, Quinville ect.... They had a piece in it about Rocky, him sitting in the stands with the fans, walking the stadium between periods, shaking fans hands ect. It was interesting the # of fans that came up to him, genuinely thanking him for what he has done for the team.
GO AVS! |

I can go on an on. My first job was working a parking lot at the old Stadium at age 6-7. Then I would be let in after the 1st period started and watched a ton of games back in the day.
There are certainly the new fans to hockey since 10 but their is a huge contingent of hardcore old school fans. This is a serious hockey town.
Rocky's brother Peter was given the team but he wouldn't take it. He knew what had to be done and he couldn't go against his father's wishes. Rocky was given the helm and did the right thing.
I read a story that Rocky's grandfather's office was left intact after the day he died. Bill Wirtz refused to remove or change that office for decades. When Bill died, Rocky cleared it out and took the office. "It's a new era!"
I think back around 05-06 there were about 3-6K people going to home games. We had a skybox and couldn't get anyone to go not even for free food and drinks. People would rather stay home. It was a sad time. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

Chills..........
It's amazing. Seriously can't believe what this franchise has evolved into.
They are saying the parade is bigger than DA Bulls or White Sox win. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |
