Sorry I didn't make it out this weekend guys. I got stuck with the calls for work and everytime I grabbed my board to head out my phone would ring. I landed a 305 engine for my boat for $100 so now I gotta get off my a$$ and get it in. Probably not as much power as the 350, but it was $100 and it runs unlike the POS that's in there now all seized up. It'll get me through the rest of the season. So you guys are thinking bout taking lahontan labor day weekend. Sounds like a raging party to me. I'll have the boat running by then. I put some lights on my tower and they pretty killer. I've been busted b4 for night sessions, but I think i've learned the trick to avoiding the LEO for the future.

My folks are rolling in on Monday, so I have to stick around and wait for them. Otherwise i'd be there. We'll get together before the end of the season though. I'd sure like to hit up Bullards one more time.

Sorry I missed your post Sauce, but we did end up going to Bullards that weekend. The weather was nice, but the water was a little chilly (65). Unfortunately the season is over, so hopefully we will see you and everybody else next year on Memorial weekend for the annual blow up!

what the season isnt over? Dont you have a drysuit? I was at lahontan in February this year. 70 degrees and a drysuit id go out.

Looks like the PWT isn't coming to Reno this year, instead it's the WWA World Championships. They are pulled by Supra's. They have a bunch of different classes competing, including the Masters for ages 30-39 and Veterans for ages 40 and up.

It was sweet but COLD, better have a drysuit and gloves. If the weather is good this weekend and I can do my side job Friday I might be available to go out again.

I always said if its warm enough to be in the boat who cares what the water temp is. I got my drysuit out last night. Forcast says 70s all week. Might warm the water up a few degrees. Few more weeks like this we may be trunking it soon! Laughing

water temp at mead is still 60degs, but i want to go bad.
i used to live in san diego. i would surf all year but didn't trunk it till about 66degs...

It's all good, maybe next time. I'm actually going to Sac now to meet up with some friends from themalibucrew so I will be out wakeboarding anyway. Next weekend doesn't look so hot as of now but that will hopefully change. I'll let you know.

Yea I am still planning on be at Lahontan for Memorial Weekend. I hope this year is better than last year. What day are you heading out, I have Friday off of work again this year, and might have Thursday off also if it's as slow as it is now at work. Thought about going out Sunday but the winds are suppose to be 10 - 15 and the water will still be really cold, maybe next weekend.
