My 2011 Moomba Mobius LSV

i had a 03 LSV i bought 2 years ago, with no imidiate plans on upgrading.
well then i went to the houston boat show Laughing

they offered me for trade in value, the same money i paid for my '03 2 years ago. and then my bank gave me some insanely good terms. after going back and forth for a few weeks, i pulled the trigger. had them order me a 2011 LSV built to my specs.

well i just got pics from the factory! the boat is WAY ahead of schedule. Very Happy

it was sprayed and layed on the 3rd, and now 6 days later the boat is nearly half done looks like. its near the end of the rigging line awaiting the tower. there even talking a possibility of a february delivery date. Shocked

You have just done what I hope to do within the next 10 years. I love the Moomba boats, they just have something that captures my eye. I'm not sure what it is. But anyway, Congrats bro, it looks sick. I love that color scheme.

What tower have you gone for?

went with the stardard rad a cage, its a updated look and larger tube than my 03.
the v2 tower was a $3500 upgrade i didnt need. Laughing

just got new pics yesterday! the boat is at the end of the line and "almost done" tower is on, raised chrome letters are all on, looks like trim plate and swim deck brackets are also on. getting so close!

just got the call! the boat is at the dealership and ready to pick up! wow from contract signing to ready to pick up in 2 weeks. thats just unreal. im so stoked.

i was telling the folks at the dealership. this is the first new thing ive ever owned. my camaros, jeep, bike, boats, etc were all used. i have no clue about dealerships, warrantees, etc is like! Laughing

83 degrees.... apparently I need to move to texas... cuz its 20 degrees with 30-40mph winds and lake effect snow right now. -1 wind chill.. Puppy Eyes

well we took her out for her maiden voyage today! we started the motor break in process and got 4 hours on the meter. also checked everything out for the dealership "to fix" list, but couldnt find a single thing wrong. everything worked perfect. hell i was amazed even the bildge stayed BONE dry the entire 4 hours. not a drop.
the new reversable pump ballast is gonna take some getting used to. but the fill times are a HUGE improvement. the redesigned dash, windsheild, and seat, and there relationship to each other were also definatly improved.
the new bigger hull is amazing handle the 20 mph winds so much better. very smooth. and although the same motor, it seemed to be much more spunky (and touchy). tons of torque. overall we were very happy. but have several more "sight seeing" trips to the lake to get the 10-20 break in hours before we can start sacking her out hard. we noticed with no ballast the wake and surf wake was actually ridable.

yeah that was me, i bought the 82 SN2001 had it for 18-24 months, then bought the 03 moomba LSV and had it for 18-24 months, then bought this. and have managed to come out ahead on every deal, never going upside down.
i bought the first two boats REALLY good. and did pretty well on this one too. Wink
