What is this grab called?

I am grabbing my board with my back hand between my feet on my heelside edge...

I dont think it's a method because I am grabbing with my back hand, not my front.

I would love to know what it is, if anyone could share some insight

If you were grabbing it on the heel edge of the board in front of your front binding it would be a nuclear. If you can contort your body to grab behind your front foot i.e. in between your legs, i have no idea!!! You must have arms like reid richards!!

but thats not possible because you said you're reaching around your front leg and then between your feet.. Isn't a nuclear the heel edge back hand in front of the lead foot? I dont know what the heck you're doing

i don't think he's reaching around as much as he thinks. it's a nuclear just grabbed more at his feet rather than towards the end.

Holdsworth has it right. It's just a nuclear grabbed more towards the middle than the nose. It would be stalefish if he reached around his back leg.

Description says Roast beef. Picture...I have no idea. His legs are to scrunched up to make much sense out of it.

Its definitely a nuclear, but seeing as (he says) he is grabbing between his feet on the heel edge, i think that means it requires a new name. Nuclear is only true for the front part of the board, like the difference between an indy and the god forsaken tindy.

Correct the closest grab to the one described is a nuclear, i think technically, if he is actually grabbing further round on the board it is NOT a nuclear.

Hows about a nuclear stale beef?

Second of all, im sure he isnt the first person to do this, but it isnt a nuclear - re my tiny/ indy argument above. Im only kidding about the name change, but if he is grabbing it where he says it is, it aint no nuclear. END

it IS nuclear though. however, it is NOT grabbed where it's supposed to be grabbed. it is NOT a new type of grab of any sort. it could be a variation of a nuclear though. just like indy/tindy. tindy is NOT a grab, it's just a made up name for the sloppy variation of an indy grabbed to far back from where it's supposed to be.

Aye fair enough, tidys are lame due to their lack of technical difficulty and they look rubbish. (still sort of a grab though...) Every grab is the same - hand on board and gripped. I guess at the end of the day you can call what ever grab whatever the hell you want!! Saying that a tindy isnt a grab its just a variation on an indy would bring into question the fact of weather or not a crail and an indy are different grabs or simply variations...comprendé. It certainly isnt something worth arguing about.

This on the other hand is tech as hell and would look amazing if tweaked round to the boat like a boned out method.

I think we should agree that its cool, its alot like the nuclear and give the boy kudos if he is actually grabbing where he says he is.

I'll try and bone it out next time I am out...

I'm 6'4" with long arms so that helps, but the trick still hurts like hell to grab solid.

I guess it is just a really deep nuclear

a grab with your rear hand(left if goofy, right if regular) on the heelside edge of your board above your feet...is a nuclear. Thats what I see in the pic...his arm is leading to the front of the board..

Agree the photo looks like a nuclear. But the description says differently. Dont get me wrong, i am fully aware what a nuclear is, and what constitutes it.

Perhaps I worded the sentence a bit oddly, but "between my feet" relates to the heelside edge, not to the "grabbing my board"
