i heard my friend talking about "nutslap" when you wakeboard. first of all, that is the funniest thing i have ever heard of Laughing

but it sounds painful Sad

do any of you guyz wear a cup when you wakeboard? i mean, if you have balz, that iz. Laughing

I find wearing a wetsuit does the trick. Or some board shorts have built in wet suits. Makes sure the boys aint hangin' out to get slapped around, cause that's not fun. Can't say I've heard of anyone wearing a cup!

I don't wear a cup. One of my friend's always complains about nutslap, but we just tell him to hike up his skirt and suck it up Laughing

Try ridding switch and switch back to regular and let the front lip of the board catch...talk about some nice nutslap...along with faceplant. Shocked

I asked this last Spring -
I got slowed down trying 360's and landing back-seat - was gonna bail in that stupid trick cause I was sick of the pain/embarassment.

Tried a jock, but that just puts em out there for more abuse.
Boxer-briefs are the key - kinda streamlines things - less chance for a direct hit.

I still get the occasional, but not nearly as often. I wear Patagonia seamless, but the Underarmor or generic I'm sure is fine. A size smaller than you might otherwise wear . ..

Wetsuit season is a ways off down here . .

here is my thoughts on "nutslap" which may change your minds about not wearing a cup while wakeboarding( didnt change mine)

wakeboarding without a cup may not be the smartest idea becuase i can get major "nut slap" causing immense internal and external pain, possibly creating a lower sperm count in my male reproductive system which is held by my scrotum which may be also damaged in the process of the major "nut slap".

i do NOT mean to be offencsive in any kind of way.

I think the board short companies such as ten80 need to build in a flap of sorts to protect those bad boys. Just a 1mm piece of neoprene would take a large majority of that pain away if it was hidden within the backside of the shorts. We pretty much all wear them baggy anyways so I doubt anyone would notice.
