Funniest thing you have ever done/seen on a lake

I would like to find out what the funniest thing you have ever done or seen someone do on a lake. Two friends and I were riding jet skis around the lake a couple summers ago on a really busy weekend. One of my friends decided to go jetskiing without a swimsuit on while standing up the whole time. He made two complete laps around the lake stopping by all boat ramps to do three sixties. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

One time we saw a guy floating in the lake next to his jetski for like 25 minutes or something. We all thought he was taking a dump in there. Shocked

This was real embarsing. Me and my friend was on the tube and my dad turned really sharp. We went flying off of it and I went head first into the buoy.That is something I will never forget.

I used to work at this restaraunt on the lake. (for those of you who might know it.. Lake Breeze Ski Lodge) A bunch of rich old people go there and one day a guy was skiing and pulled down his shorts so he was skiing bare ass in circles in front of the lodge. It was great.

first time i ever wakeboarded i was cruising around on the ole hyperlite xp when a group full of fine girls pulls up to start skiing in our area. as i watched the first girl get up on her skis her bottom got pulled down to her ankles.

I got the crown for the funniest/stupidist thing ever. A couple of pals of mine went out one evening after a FEW cold ones and set out in the boat we had. (20' fishing boat with a 50hp motor) Very soon they come back and with them they brought one of those GT Snow racers. They took some of that yellow polly rope tied it arround the front. Rory got on, said "Hit it!" and they fired off. The bloody thing submarined. Rory went about 3 feet underwater and of course slowed down. You could just see this rope tighten up and then just like one of those whales jumping out of the water he shot out. Needless to say he didnt stick the landing and the GT was soon outlawed as a water toy. Laughing

we had one of those crazy tubes that are now banned from the lake... and my dad went like 38 and my cousin n i were on it and we just sank... we tried to get out, but in the process i guess i broke the clip on the back of my bathing-suit, but i had a life-vest on. i was too busy trying to catch my breath and when i went to go take off my lifevest my bikini top fell off n the whole boat got a nice show...
now everytime i take off my vest, i check first lol

haha, i check also aubs, everytime, and when i fall...i heard in Germany, on the cables they dont have to wear vests, and some people would ride naked, i dont know why, but they do, i cant think of any of my embarresing moments, but ill think of one, i know i have had some

once we were at our local lake on a monday morning right after a holiday and sometime during the night, a guy was driving his boat and ran head on into the shore. the entire boat was completely out of the water. it was funny as heck. he gets my vote for stupidest thing done on a lake.

acually, i have a funny story, we were tubing behind my dads regal, in the ocean, my dad has no clue how to drive for tthat stuff, so he is going really really fast, and in the ocean it was kinda rough, there flying everywhere, they finally fly out, like 5 yards from the tube, and come back in the tube, we all llook down, and there is this HUGE turtle going up to it, bigger then the tube, OMG it was the BEST, i hasve never seen my brother swom so fast in his life, then they get back in the boat, and its under the tube, no one would go, so they get the gockles, and decide to mess with it, then they both jump in as it swims towards them, once again, my brother could have won a swim race, lol, you would have to be there, it was great

For those of you familiar with Lake Travis we were in Cypress creek last year and I dropped my pants to a full "Large Marge". It's a giant party barge that can hold around 100 or so people. It was great, everyone on the boat was cheering and laughing. There was a little alcohol involved in the inncident...

our new rental neighbors from houston never have had a boat so last summer when they tried to park the new 2002 mastercraft it was sooo funny considering the boat now says "mas er aft". and sad to say it has many huge ass dents now.

A few minutes later, my friend Josh decieds to do the same thing, only he jumps off the FRONT of the boat. I killed the engion right away, and a couple seconds later we heard and felt his head SLAM on the bottom of the boat.

yeah - i hope that he learned his lesson. during the summer - we all try to do backflips off the tube.. and once, before we were about to start going - i was trying to do it & all of a sudden, as im about to jump backwards, my dad guns it & WHOSH i fly off the back... good times...

funniest thing that i have done.... one time at the lake there were these a** hole sea doers (or as i now refer to them "sea roaches") like rideing right behind my boat, like jumping the wake 5 ft from the transom.... well the wake get rather monstourous when you go about 5 mph, well the sea roach obiovusly didnt know what he was hitting beacuse he hit my wake and went flying off of his sea doo...it was funny!! it took him 5 mins to get back to his sea doo, yea, he didnt touch my wake again.. let it be a warning to all you sea roaches!!! Back when I lifeguarded for Ca State Parks we were on boat patrol at like 6pm. Just making sure the jet-skis are minding the laws and there to help out with medicals should something bad goes down. I see this mastercraft that's been floating in the middle of the main body at Folsom. Usually ski boats head up the fork for better water. So I cruise over to check things out and notice this old man and old lady getting it on, on the engine compartment. I guess the kids must have been gone for the weekend. Probably the funniest thing.

Boat patrol was always fun. Get to sit around in a cool State Parks boat and watch people wakeboard all day.
