I am taking the OU team out on sunday, looks like it will be nice. I went a couple of weeks ago. The water is really cold but I think you might be able to get away with a wetsuit. Definetly looking forward to warmer days.

Wish I was... I want to get out to our lake house at Eufaula so bad but my dad won't give in. He says he has more important stuff to do and what sucks is that we just bought a new boat and its just sittin here collecting dust doing nothing. I also didn't really get into wakeboarding too much until a couple months ago so all we have is a crappy board at the lake house... I don't care that its crappy, just the fact that its at the lake house and not here. So we can't just go riding at Arcadia or something. I'm going to go eat something and stop complainin about not bein able to wakeboard...

We just got a 2004 x-10... i know i'm new to wakeboarding and all and you guys are probably wondering why we got this kind of boat when i'm not even that great at wakeboarding... well you'll have to ask my dad that because he just said hey i found this boat this guy is selling so he went out and bought it. got it for 48k with only 19 hours on it. but anyways our house is in the porum landing area near the dam.

I thought about starting my own thread, but decided to bump this one up instead. I am just getting into boarding again after going out only once last summer. I almost sold my board last month to free up some cash, but when it came down to it I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm around the Eufaula/Okmulgee area this summer and am looking to get out much more than last summer. I have a doo and have rounded up some buddies to help with a slider or kicker. We built a slider 2 years ago, but it didn't work. I came to realize floating it with barrels, all in a row, directly underneath some A-frames makes it act more like a log roll, not what you want after 2 full Saturdays building something. On top of that it was so difficult to get it to the lake because we built it way to big we ended up pulling it out of the water and tieing it to a tree. We went back the next day to try and fix it and it was gone. We couldn't figure out who in the world would, or even could, steal something that big (30 ft. rainbow). Apparently the barrels we used to float it contained paint at one time and would eventually contaminate the lake. And because this is where the town got its drinking water, well we were in trouble if the water department found out where it came from. So after a ton of bonehead mistakes we chalked it up to a loss. Lesson learned. We're going to try another one built up from an empty boat that can be trailered to and from the lake with ease, and will definitely float. Anyhow, I just wanted to get back on here and hopefully get together with some people this summer for some fun.

Most likely at porum or over by the wakeboard shop. Sometimes we go over to number 9, but that's usually to jump off of the cliffs. What about you?
