hey check the new 484 wakeskates. they seem like a complete copy of cassette except for the graaphics. but hey i think theyre cool so im gona be getn one or two,
they got flat concave and the el cuatro wich is like the four trac

That's pretty uhh...uncool. If it's a carbon copy, I'd stick w/ the original. I mean, if we spent all our money on the ripoff's, it be real sad to see a company pushing the sport of wakeskating w/ new ideas and etc, go down.

dude ok i love cassette , but if the 484 wakeskates are less expensive ill buy one of them. i like cassettes four trac better tho

*note - This is only establishing that 484 wakeskates are exactly like Cassette's, and that they have no affiliation w/ Cassette of course. It could be true that either 484 wakeskates are completely different design, or they are affiliated w/ Cassette. *

So you would support a company that steals ideas? Would you want to see Cassette go down cause someone else went the easy way and were able to sell boards cheaper? I hope Cassette sues 484, only of course if my note is true.

ok thanx docksecret, i looked at them ,they look ok, im not a big fan of skulls and that kind of stuff though, but if there exactly the same as cassete i would probably still ride cassete, i love my cassete, i will probably always ride cassete, unless i find something that rides differently that i like

Yes, they are EXACTLY the same as the Cassette skates. I assume they are either licenced or have done a Hyperlite on Cassette. Remember all this was going down when Cassette and LF were in limbo.

Cassette was never in Limbo it is owned by Horrell, LF is there distributer not owner

It looks as if Thomas Liscenced the plans to them (doubtfull) or they have a key to the patent office... Sure looks like a rip off to me. Especially the concave and their special model. One looks just like a 3-D and the other is a dead give away for a 4-trac. I wouldn't buy something from them.

if you even consder riding a direct copy of cassette you are a serious jackass who has no buisnes in the sport everyone indirectly copys cassette as it is if you consider yourself a wakeskater you should only ride cassette because without it wakeskating wouldn't exist plus they are the bet shapes and are the only real inovators 484 can go to hell

Not only Cassette, just a company that doens't completely steal ideas. Buying boards from such companies as Kampus and Hyperlite will keep the competition going, thus keeping the heat on of creating better boards.

no it's like saying don't buy 484 because instead of trying to go out there and make a new product that's innovative they just copied someone else. you know what this means? they don't give a sh't about the sport all they want is money. and if your into supporting a company that isn't concernd with the sport and just wants to make a buck then wait for nash to start making wakeskates and buy one of those.

all you guys have your panties in a bunch over the new 484 wakeskates. can't you guys take a little competition. cassette already dominates the wakeskates as far as riders. so if it wasn't for new companies like 484 wakeskates the industry would go stale. so grow up and get over it!
