How about you put my last name in the credits? Either that or remove me entirely- your choice. Nothing personal, but I think you puttin my name in the credits as "Scott A." is a real half assed job since everyone else has their full name in it. So either you take the extra effort to get my full name in the credits (like everyone else), or simply remove it all.

I liked how the delta part had a Warren Miller like naration. Not a bad idea, I think featuring local scenes like that it will be really worth seeing. When will it be broadcast?

how about handling something like whether or not your last name should be on the credits privatly through email or a phone call.Complaining about it publically will make your point come accross wrong to a lot of people..Professionalism is a lost art nowadays..just a thought Rolling Eyes

Hey br0 you obviously have a bad attitude ,calling it halfassed is far from contributing when it pretains to your name and now your attacking me??Take a step back and breathe. i did contribute to the thread i thought your comments should have been kept to actually the show and not a selfish thing like your last name not being correct..thats critisism that should be handled off line and sounds like whining to me.. You should be thankful that they came out and filmed you all and you are givin a chance to be in the first episode but instead you are publically complaining about your last name not all being there-give me a break Exclamation

funny how things can be misunderstood over the internet. i dont have a bad attitude, but i do have an opinion. Unlike you, I like to give my opinion on certain topics, and wakeboard tv is one of them. After seeing their crew work I believe they have the potential to create a very good television program. However the only way that they will reach their highest potential is if people like you and I tell them what they can (and sometimes should) do to steer them in the right direction. Out of curiousity I went back and read your post in the other board and I have come to the conclusion that you have more of an opinion about me being an "unprofessional" kid with a "bad attitude" than you do critiquing the show. fyi im not mad, pissed or annoyed.
if your curious bill yes i am thankful that they came out and filmed riders that i know. i wasnt personally filmed but i had a great time watching everyone else ride (while i myself filmed)
I will publically complain about whatever i want. It just happens that the only thing left for me to complain about was my name. If you paid attention you might have noticed that I have constantly voiced my opinion to wakeboard tv and now there is nothing left for me to complain about. Very Happy

Yes on that current thread i didnt say much but on their first couple of posts a month or so ago i did have some things to say but i also had nothing much else to say that wasnt already said by me or other posters..

If you recognize my name you would know i have contrbuted quite a bit to all the wakeboard sites over the years.. so im not a one line poster or trouble maker i just thought on that particular subject you could have did it in a more mature way..its all good im done for now Very Happy

I thought the show was good, but thought it was a little disappointing to show Sawn Watson's footage from Project Watson, I own that video I bought it 2 years ago. Don't tell me you went down to Florida to ride with Shawn Watson and then show me video from 2 years ago, especially video everyone has seen before. That should have been in a video reveiw. you pretty much showed a video you had seen and made comments on it like you were there. Sorry this is my only complaint, everything was well done, and was better than that other wake television type video thingy, that I won't mention. It had good riders and good footage and was informative on botht the malibu section and boat show. And tru it probably will be better when the weather warms up and more people are riding and the tour is oing on, let's just not make this mistake again , ok. Wink

It was weak, but I'm not sure if it was the cheezy set, the recycling of footage that has already been recycled a dozen times, or the goofy CA guys that keep saying how cold it is over and over. We get it. It's cold. It's January for God's sake; it's supposed to be cold. Watson's part was lame, really old and outdated. These guys have a good idea, but they need more practice, more footage, and a little more riding talent.

I thought it was pretty good. I liked the Delta and Malibu footage. There did seem to be an excess of lame jibber-jabber. It was kinda a mix of Bluetorch and Jackass - too heavy on the Jackass, in my opinion. Show more riding and less of the host guys antics and stupid jokes. Also, since they went through all the trouble to get down to Florida and shoot the Malibu factory, it would have been nice if they'd got at least one good steady shot of the boat - the camera guy was trying to be way too experimental, moving around too much with sh*tty close ups of the interior. The editing jumped around alot too. I realize that they're trying to get a certain look to the show (sort of Bluetorch-ish), but stop trying to be so "new skool" and just show us the goods. Personally, I'd rather see well placed shots and angles than handheld shaky footage that doesn't really give the viewer a good look at what's being presented. Not trying to sound cool, but I have a B.A. in sports broadcasting & video production/editing, and have seen and worked on plenty of "extreme" style vids. I know that it could be produced in a much more informative and clean way - while still holding onto the type of "image" and style that it's going for. Also, the interviews were pretty weak. Lots of "um's" and awkward pauses. Prep the interviewee a little better on what kinds of questions you're going to ask before the interview, so they don't look dumb. Just because wakeboarding is an extreme sport doesn't mean that you can't approach the production in a professional manner. Liked the After-Effects use on the intro. Good sound & music editing. There was some creative use of jump cuts, slow/fast motion, color enhancement, etc.
All-in-all, I enjoyed it though. It's cool to see that somebody's investing time and money into showing the world what our sport's all about - riding with friends, pushing the limits and having fun. I'd just hate to see us portrayed as foul-mouthed punks - even if a lot of us are! In short - more riding footage, less goofing off and higher quality shots. Just keep it real. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Both the QT movie and the Windows movie are progressive stream files. You should not have to download to view. Make sure your media player is configured to open file upon connection not to download! Or you will have to wait a long time to view.

Only a very poor connection will need to download the files
