|
|
Hi Guys,
With a lot of reading and research Ive finally got my kit!! And im proud of it
Liquid Force watson 138
Ronix One 2011 Bindings
Im getting quiet comfortable with the board in the water, Ive only been on the water a total of 3 times and ive managed to get the flat 180 down, im landing my ollie's ( although they are tiny ) , and ive managed to get a little bit of air off the wake.
GOing to keep practacing the ollie's and jumping off the wake till i get a reasonable amount of air.
LOVING this sport! |

That setup looks sick nice combination. What type of rope did you get. If it is not a zero stretch rope you may want to look into upgrading as you progress. |

Thanks guys!
@mgs917 Its not a zero stretch one. I was looking at those, but the price difference was just too much. And at my level ( real noob ) , I didn't think it would make any difference. When i improve my skills I will definitely look at getting one of those though. |

Understandable, they can get expensive. I would recommend that a rope be your next purchase though. You will notice a difference right away when you switch over to a non stretch rope. They help with giving a consistent pull off the top of the wake and they tend not to pull you off balance as much or slack and pull like a non 'zero stretch rope. You are correct though your rope will work fine as you learn, but you will want to switch sooner rather than later. |

I got a zero stretch rope and handle for 50 bucks, just gotta scour the bay of E and it makes a huge difference. _________________ Don't rush to judge me, no matter how fast you won't be the first one. |

ditto on the zero stretch rope - I can hook you up for shipping - each year it seems I run one through the prop due to crappy windy conditions - the coating gets torn but the rope doesn't get cut - I've got at least 3 "backups" that I would donate to the cause... now if I could just get my crew to realize when the boat gets blown over the rope... PM if interested - |

southgawake, Send FlatH20 a pm. It looks like he may have an extra one that he can send you if you pay the shipping price., |
