I'll be there. Broadway is going to be the only run open so I might not even ride. Lines will be long and be prepared for some nice rocks showing too. |

I canceled the trip I had planned for this weekend (opening weekend). Not enough snow to justify the time and expense. I'll wait until after Thanksgiving when the base is larger and more of the mountain is open.
If you want snow, it looks like you're going to have go to Whistler (or some place north). They're having the great start to their season we had last year.

I was there, and it actually wasnt half bad...they had the gondola open all the way to the top. You could traverse over to cornice bowl and some of the chutes in that area. It was core gouge city until you found out how to pick your lines, after that we actually got some pretty good turns in. The rails were small but fun, especially after things died down towards the end of the day and got less crowded. Overall it was worth my 50 bucks and the three hour drive from tahoe. It sure beats the snow we have up here... _________________ got premier? |

I was there too. I just practiced my drinking and hungout at main lodge. I'll wait till more opens with less rocks. It was fun kicking off the season though! Praying for snow. |

How's the new dining area at the Main Lodge? I hear it's pretty nice.
I'll be makin' my first trip of the year in two weeks. Hopefully they'll get a storm or two by then.

New dining area is main is pretty cool. Much more room and the bar is facing the hill which I think will attract many more people to sit there and get hammered. |
