I have the guts to try and throw flips now but i just cant seem to figure out how to rotate. Everyone tells me its easy to do the back roll how its kind of like a gainer, but I can't seem to feel how to get the rotation in. Ive tried fronts off my toeside too, I get the closest with those but i dont get much air. HELP PLEASE!! _________________ yeah Crownsville Air Force! |

The most important thing is how you come off the wake. You have to have a good release to have any chance to land anything, so make sure you know what the motions are. Check out the trick tips on this site, visualize what it takes to do the edge, release, rotation, landing, etc.. and just give it a go.
Here is a solid heelside backroll, good progressive edge, good kick off the wake..

Your name is gymnast-Steve you should be helping us with flips!
Is a Gainer when you leave the diving board kick the feet up in front of you, look over the back and dive head first into the pool that way? if so the Tantrum is like a gainer not the HS backroll..
TS front- I guarantee you are tryn' to tuck and flip too early, dive out across the wake a bit more before you tuck and flip forward.
Jim is right that clip is a SOLID backroll, with lots o speed to land in the flats... I take mine W2W still, I'm lame like that... _________________ PEACE
