Alright, I've mastered spins up to 540, and now working on inverts. But as most people may know, inverts can be frustrating, especially at first. Therefore I am looking for cool tricks to learn, not exactly "oldschool" tricks, but surface or other tricks that are easy but that look cool and are fun to do.
Let me know if you have ideas, it would be appreciated.
thanks |

| Take your spins off-axis if you really don't want to learn inverts. But you should at least try some. If you're hitting 5's then you should have no problems with a backroll or tantrum. |

Unsure of the exact names, but I always like ....
1) a "0 wake 180" (the surf carve - jump - 180 - down the same wake) If you can do it super high and grab it, it looks cool.
2) A really good spraying tip (power?)slide (only the back tip of the board touching)
Both are not really difficult or at all dangerous to learn, but are ones that can be done on short sections, or on turns, etc. |

howabouttheiris, #1 is a re-entry 180.
Both of those are some pretty cool tricks which i don't know how to do. Don't really know any other cool tricks though. |

Yeah it's just the rotation, not exactly comfortable with it yet. I just wanted something new and fun to try while I work on inverts
Thanks for the ideas, I'll mess around this weekend. |

| Id say just do slides and sprays. Ever since I started doing them people seem to think Im better for some reason. Its weird but people enjoy seeing me throw a big spray as much as any other trick. |

Shawn_17, try a suicide, let go of the handle mid-jump and grab it again. its a crowd pleaser and once u get the hang of it it's an easy trick, same with a fashion air
hs indy 180's are fun too, grab indy, then spin a late 180 |

Ollie 3's off a roller with a few feet of air typically are crowd pleasers, or just have some fun and do them flatwater. _________________ Litrecola? Do we sell litrecola? |

Shawn_17, in all of my attempts at inverts I haven't landed any and they never hurt as much as botched spins. I know it feels really weird to throw yourself upside down at first, but I've taken nosedives at about 23 mph and don't feel a thing. Once you take the first one you'll realize "Hey, its not so bad" but you just have to try |
