What other boats offer a diesel? Session and I heard Epic was gonna offer one. Can anyone confirm? _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

Yeah you would think that the oil companies would be a lil less obvious about it. Everyone knows that they are having these ppl killed but they don't care b/c nobody will do anything to them. Like elmerfudd said they have the politicians in their pockets so basically they are untouched. Its pretty sorry. |

Wow, lots of threads getting revived from the dead tonight.
Here's one for you. My buddy owns and runs a 28' parasail boat. He just swapped out the gas powered big-block V8 for a brand new Volvo turbodiesel. With stern drive and all related hardware and gear...$30,000. Installation...another $7,000. He hopes to recoup the money this summer. It is very likely that he will. |

Mastercraft sells diesel engined boats for Europe.
"From the cool things to come out of Europe file emerges this MasterCraft Audi 3.0L diesel engine option. The TDI 225-6 engine will only be available in ProStar 190/197/X-7's and MariStar 280/X-80's. In Europe diesel engines make up nearly 50% of new auto sales due to the potential for increased economy. Due to the high option cost and limited demand this engine is not expected to be available on this side of the pond. "

You'd think the "high option cost" would pay itself off over a not-so-long timespan with a diesel wouldn't you? If there were more of these in the market and the option was made noticeable, more people would spring for diesels in their boats. _________________
