I have been nailing scarecrows on the trampoline for about five months and i am getting perfect ones about 75% of the time and I was just wondering if I should try it on the water before I try a toeside frontroll(which is still easy to do on the tramp).
Also I got a longer rope recently and am having some trouble clearing the wake toeside, so should I work on the jump more or just go big and hit one of these inverts
Finally, how would you compare the scarecrow on the tramp to the one on the water. Also how would you compare the frontroll on the tramp to doing it on the water _________________ She will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine. |

| i have a buddy, hsprings99 who i just started riding with and he has both dialed. He said that you probably wanna start with the front roll because the scarecrow will come alot faster after you get the front. He said that if you learn the crow first you will have harder time learning the front |

I learned the scarecrow before I learned the TS front, and I honestly think that it does not matter. Make sure you are using good form though if you learn a crow first, and I recommend dropping a hand to initiate the 180 at first. This way, when doing a ts front, take the pop the exact same way just drop the opposite hand and bam ts front.

im working on the TS Frontroll too... came very very close last weekend but failed on a ton of attempts. my closest attempt i actually landed back on the board and was riding for a good 5 seconds or so but had to much weight on my heels and eventually keeled back onto my ass and wiped out. _________________ Go Big. Practicing on the tramp is helpful but the tricky part of both the ts front and the scarecrow is the pop. That's something you can't simulate on the tramp. The mistake most people make are popping too early and not keeping the handle in. Go for it! _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I've seen that happen just a few times. You need make it feel like you're going to overrotate it a bit, because you want to come down edging away from the wake. |

i have redeemed myself, i think?
i went out today, didnt try the crow or frontroll but i did land 2 backrolls and i got the guts to try the heelside 360 and on my 5th attempt i have great pop, good rotation and had the handle and everything but i was leaning to much foward hit the water with my board on the toeside edge and got a good faceplant _________________ She will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine. |

| A lot of people I kno try the frontroll first just becuz the rotation is easy to initiate but it's a hard trick to land cleanly. I learned the frontroll first but most of the time i'd be half way around for a crow anyways. After a while I just figured I'd try crows becuz I was already half way there and they came much easier. I would learn front rolls first they are a hard one to land but just remember to throw the handle to your front hip on the last quarter of the rotation so u ride away straight. If you learn the front roll first the crow will come really easy. |
