I have to do an informitive presentation on wakeboarding for english tommorow. Here's what I'm planning on including, let me know if i should add more

History etc
Tricks
Boats
Key terms

Anything else? Should I include the pro world and mention mark kenney?

WakeboardDrumma, It'd be pretty sweet if you could bring in a board and explain grab positions... Question

But good luck with it.

In my english class, we had to write about something we loved to do. Of course I chose wakeboarding and got a 97 and I did it the night before. My other friends didnt do so hot...

Maybe because I said something like "Hi-tech composite materials effortlessly gliding across nature's very soul"..... haha

If you can't bring in a board you could bring in a handle to explain the basic body positions. Remember most people probably don't know what wakeboarding is, so the more visual aids the better.

yeah if you can bring in your board, and explain about that too, if not I agree with the handle idea

If you decide to go into the whole pro thing, pick the right pros other wise it may get boring for people in your class to listen to since they would have never herd of said pro...like talking about JD Webb being on stunt junkies (and showing the clip if you can get it) vs. Randall Harris coming back and who he was(is). Randall is great news to people who had seen him ride and knew who he was prior to that, but hearing about him first time to people who don't wake board really can’t relate to it and wouldn’t want to hear about the story, like a wake boarder who reads all the mags and goes on the sites would, there is more of a chance that they have seen stunt junkies and want to hear about more stuff that JD Webb has done and then you have more peoples attention (I hope I’m proving my point here) so mark Kenny might be like a 50/50 shot

man it is word for word.. I'm not trying to be a dick, I just get pissed when people take someone elses word for their own.. I write comic and it happens to me all the time and can be very frustrating.. Smile

Although, I do understand you and apologize, But Honestly It's a lot different in my paper. I'll search through word and find out what I really said.

WakeboardDrumma, You should have gone in all kitted up in a full winter wet-suit, helmet, impact vest, boardies and the bindings on your feet. If you could have got a boat towed in that would have helped! That's where your other 2 marks went!!!

lucky...I'm a junior and in my English class our most recent presentations had to be on Japanese history. And he assigned the topics, too bad one of them wasn't the history of wakeboarding in Japan... conicchwa ... Very Happy
