Ive been trying to get w2w HS BS 180s for a few weeks now. I can do them ollieing no prob and off rollers too but not w2w. Ive gotten sooooo close, I just land with the rope and keep spinning on the surface toward 360. Finally this weekend, I got fed up with that same fall and said "F*#k it, Im going for a BS 3. Got real close on my first try and got it within 10 or 15 tries. Felt great to hit my first new trick of the year. Ive never liked the look of them but its probably my new favorite trick to do because you have to wait sooo long (it feels like) then you start the spin away from the boat which feels sick, you get the handle and whip it around really quick at the last second. Only problem I have is I keep landing tail heavy as you can see...any tips on that?
Heres the video, how bout that crash?

Sweet man. Yeah I think the bs3 is easier than the 180. I learned the 180 first but the 360 came so much faster. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| Wakebrad, ya for some reason the 180 is just TOO easy. I cant spin any slower it seems and to make things worse, I feel like I get my best pop spinning HS BS. I guess I just have to start it REALLLY late, like 2 feet off the water. I dont know, but the 360s are so fun I dont really care right now! |

LFADAM, yeah, one trick for me when I'm over-rotating is to make sure I look at the shore and really getting over my toes. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| more weight on your front foot coming into the wake will keep you from landing tail heavy |

I landed a HS BS 360 years before even trying 180. I could never stop spinning the extra 180 and going to 3 for the longest time. I figured out if I grabbed and really held the grab it would make me wait longer and only go 180. I then had alot of troble landing on my heels and washing out. I changed to a tail grab instead of indy and now hardly ever wash out.
Now if I could just stop spinning the extra 180 on my TS FS 540 and land 360 I would be happy. I want that trick so bad! _________________ Jason
