So far i've just been taking it easy this season working on the basics... hs, ts, switc hs, switch ts...
I can do ollies 180s in all 4 and today i just landed some w2w Hs 180s... i was trying to start working on TS 180s, but i cant really go w2w Ts yet.. but i still managed to do a 1 wake ts 180
Im curious where to go after this. Should i concentrate on doing toesides? or start working on wake jumping switch ( which i havent tried)
Any help would be great, thanks. |

i'd keep pushing yourself to learn toeside jumps first, then i'd move on to jumping switch hs and ts!
I find ts jumps alot more difficult but a trick that i was taught when jumping either way was right before poping up off the wake pull in on the top the give you a bit more speed/tension on the rope.
It seemed to work for me, and i still do it now |

in on the top? you mean just like ride up to the wake with your arms extended, then right before the wake, pull it into your hips?
I'll def be working on TS next weekend
I rode for like 5 hours this weekend working on nothing but ollie 180s ( hs, ts, switch hs, switch ts) all before i tried w2w 180s |

| Punkpenguin, go out further and cut harder to go w2w TS, it'll be scary at first, but you gotta push yourself if you want to become better. Once you get those down move onto BS 180's then switch w2w 180's and BS 180's |

| It's very important that you have the handle in tight on your hip on toeside jumps. Pull the handle in close either to start your edge or as you approach the wake. As long as it's close in to your waist as you leave the wake you'll be golden. Guy showed me that last summer and I couldn't believe what a difference it made. I was charging the wake as hard as it could casing it hard time after time. Told me keep the handle in tight and I was going wake to wake with ease with half the effort. |

get up switch, and cut out on your heels, then work your way back to the wake (dont try to jump it just go back to it)
do this over and over cutting out on your heels, this will prepare you to hit the wake switch hs
now your ready to hit the wake switch on your heels. I wassnt prepared when i first hit the wake switch hs, i didnt know what to expect and naturally did a 180, its easy because you land regular. By the end of the day i kept getting bigger and bigger just hitting the wake switch and landing reg.
end of the day i could do a switch grabbed w2w 180, try it out, im sure youll have fun doin this |
